How Re-Connecting Trauma Coaching Can Help You, and What Sessions look like at Rebuilding Courage.

People have natural built-in accesses to help regulate their mind and body after a traumatic life event.  I understand different levels and situations of trauma and have used a re-connect approach and process to help through some of the toughest times.

My approach to healing from betrayal trauma is based on a one-on-one level using knowledge, education, and understanding while helping you to re-connect to what makes you happy again.

Below is a list of some of the things we will cover while working together:

  • I understand the need for you to feel you are in a safe place while we explore your trauma. I promise to ensure you are heard and understood with compassion and attunement to what you may be going through.
  • You are your own guide while moving forward through your healing. This is your time to open, and it’s your decision how deep you’re comfortable going.
  • Together we will create ways for you to reconnect to the people and things most important to you to help you move forward during your recovery.
  • My own experiences allow me to attune to you and your trauma with empathy, validation, and understanding while we strategize what goals you are looking to achieve and reach.
  • Sessions will be via Zoom video or phone; whichever you are more comfortable with.

Partners with a Pornography Addiction

Pornography addiction can create significant trust and intimacy problems for an otherwise loving marriage. Pornography harms not only the user but also the partner and family. This loss of trust and associated trauma can manifest in many ways, such as anxiety, depression, or further deterioration of the relationship and family structure.

At Rebuilding Courage, we will provide compassionate listening and coaching strategies to help you understand the emotions and confusion associated with the discovery of a partner’s pornography addiction.
